Well it's Wednesday night and it looks like the rain has stopped for now. Our ponds overfloweth and our fisheys danceth!

I just watched most of the Country Music Awards and what is up with that? I guess I'm just getting old but this stuff ain't country! And, most of the performers sounded flat and out of tune. Some of 'em got plum spasmodic up there! What ever happened to "Wasted Days and Wasted Nights" and "Silver Wings?" Geeez......... BUT, redemption finally came at the end when The Eagles sang...... now there's a group of guys that's still workin' it! AND, they sounded great! Am I showing my age for real now? Just my opinion but I thought the show was a complete train wreck! I guess I musta' been country, when country wasn't cool! Remember that one........? Barbara Mandrell & George Jones! OH YEAH!

Several of the winners DID thank God and mama and their spouse and their producers and John Boy and Jim Bob and Mary Ellen and their second cousin once removed and the cat, and, and, and.......alright already!!! Personally, I think they need to give more credit to God, after all, He IS the giver of ALL talents! Once again, it seems we put God on the back burner when He deserves the full spotlight. Don't go thinking I do any better because I don't! I just know how much I desire to do better in my own life! Let's commit to pray for one another and give credit where credit is due.....to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! God bless ye all.........
