It is Sunday night and we have had another good day. We didn't make it to church this morning because for some reason I couldn't sleep last night. It was 3:00AM the last time I looked at the clock and I didn't wake up until 12:30PM today. I NEVER sleep that late! Must have needed the rest.
Alfred and Jamie worked on getting the smoke stack on the cabin today. Alfred welded a massive boom onto the tractor bucket so he would be able to lift the incredibly heavy steel stack up high enough to get it on top of the roof. Looking at it I thought to myself, "OH MY, that's NEVER going to work!" He maneuvered the tractor down the hill, through the winding trails, with that contraption on the front and Jamie and I drove the Gator with the stack tied down in the back. When they got everything in place and began the actual execution, I stood FAR away and took pictures. It was quite an impressive feat of engineering if you ask me, however, it DID make me nervous watching them work. In the end, it went off without a hitch! The stack is in place and now he's ready to start on the firebox inside. All in all it has been a productive day.
Tomorrow is the beginning of a new week. If you tend to dislike Mondays, why not get up first thing and say, "This is the day the Lord has made and (whether I feel like it or not) I AM GOING TO rejoice and be glad in it!" We are just as blessed on Mondays as we are on Fridays folks! Don't let the devil steal any of your joy! God bless you all!
