Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain!

How's that for a title? We have had a LOT of rain today and a cool front is in route. :) Normally, I love rainy weather but there's been one teeeny little problem this time.....my windshield wipers went out today during a torrential downpour! It scared me to death because I was driving along, in traffic, and just like that, they stopped! YIKES! Isn't it funny how quickly we call out to the Lord in a bad situation? That's the first thing that came out of my mouth.....Lord, help me see well enough to get off the road! Lord help me see well enough to not hit anyone! Lord help me see well enough to get back to my office! Lord, Lord, Lord!!! We just rattle it off and then when the danger has passed and all is well, we forget to thank Him. He was RIGHT THERE when I needed Him. RIGHT THERE!! I didn't have to call 911, Al Sharpton OR Jessie Jackson! I had my Father's undivided attention immediately! Wanna' know what I did when I got back to my office? I complained because it was raining SO HARD, and got my pants wet! Awww, poor pitiful me......what a whiney baby I was! So......to take care of some unfinished business (several hours after the fact) THANK YOU FATHER for taking such good care of me and my family today! WHAT AN AWESOME GOD WE SERVE! God bless y'all!
