I recently got a new puppy and he is such a sweet little fella. I haven't decided what to name him yet so I just call him Little Bit. He weighs about a pound and a half and we have to be very careful just walking around so as not to step on him. I also have a huge cat named Cotton and he's about a year and a half old. He loves to get in my computer desk drawer and sleep. When I sit down at the computer, it's the same ole routine....he walks up, lets out a big meow, I open the drawer and he jumps in. It has been his favorite spot for some time now but tonight I put the pup in there. Cotton paced back and forth on top of the desk, glaring at this creature and trying to figure out what had happened to his napping spot. He would reach down with his paw and touch the sleeping puppy and then pace some more. It was just too funny! It was apparent that this was NOT going to work! Knocking papers everywhere, he made his way to HIS drawer and layed right down on top of the puppy. It was the funniest thing! Even with this monster cat on top of him, the puppy never woke up. Of course I had my camera handy and got this funny photo. Oh, and there really isn't anything sticking out of the pup's mouth like it appears in the pic. It's this rawhide chewy thingy and he was laying on it. :)
We went to Beaumont today to see Trav and had a really good time with him. He was in good spirits and we laughed about lots of silly stuff. That sure makes it easier when you have to walk away and leave him in that awful place. It won't be long and he'll be back home with us! I can hardly wait!
I know my entry isn't too exciting tonight. There were no "sightings" today where one might need a tarp but it HAS been a good day. All the running has made me tired tonight so my brain isn't firing on all cylinders as usual! :) I hope everyone has a great day in church tomorrow! God bless....
