Running, Running....

Today was the first day we actually had to do quite a bit of running around. Alfred had to go to the John Deere place and get a part for his tractor and to WalMart to get a battery for the sawmill. Then he had an appointment with the eye doctor to get some new spectacles! He lost his good pair when he took them off to shoot at a deer a couple weeks ago. I'm going to get a logging chain and hook the new ones around his neck! He's lost his old ones twice but was lucky enough to backtrack and find them. This last time it was no use! He had covered too much ground to remember where he'd been. UGH!

I did a little cooking tonight but will do most of it in the morning. I wish we were having Thanksgiving like we used to before my daddy passed away. EVERYONE was together and we had such good times! Alfred's mama and sister are coming as well as our daughter and her husband will be here with us. Jeremy has to work and of course Trav is still not home so there will only be seven of us. To tell you the truth, I'm a bit sad! But it IS Thanksgiving and I do have so much to be thankful for! We may not all be together but we are ALL alive and healthy so that's truly an awesome blessing.

I am so tired tonight and won't be writing much. I feel like I could go to sleep in this chair so I think it's time to call it a night! God bless and I hope everyone has a Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving tomorrow!
